Fractures is a typical Designer Pinwheel patchwork quilt based on the four-fold rotation of a tessellated right triangle. The original patchwork quilt was made from solid color silk dupioni fabrics, with extra wide borders rolled to the back to finish the quilt edges. The pattern makes a quilt 27″ x 27″. The pattern is for one full-scale tessellated triangle only. Cut and piece the pattern’s patches four times to complete the quilt top. Add seam allowances to all patches.
