Primitive elephant cross stitch pattern. Cover Monochrome Sampler was stitched with 2 strands of DMC floss over 2 thread on 35 count fabric – Edinburgh Linen ( Vintage Country Mocha color ). Finished stitched area: – 68 x 38 stitches – 9.9 x 5.5 cm ( 3.75′ x 2.25′ ) on 35 count Linen as shown on cover – 10.8 x 6 cm ( 4.25′ x 2.5′ ) on 16 count Aida Extra fabric on each side at least 5 cm ( 2′) allowance for finishing/framing.
