Blauer Pfau Shawl

This pattern is designed by Martina Behm. A pretty multicolored fingering-weight yarn in simple, easy-to-do garter stitch: All the creative work the dyer has put into the skein will show! The shawl construction is also fun – and the details that make it special. “Blauer Pfau” (which means “blue peacock” in German) is a triangle with diamond-shaped cut-outs along the middle axis. And the cut-out pieces will magically (sort of) show up at one end of the shawl to add extra interest.
